Sizzler 8U Citizenship - Friendship - Leadership - Sportsmanship - Scholarship BBYSL is a recreational and an educational organization committed to giving eligible youth, regardless of race, color, creed or athletic ability the freedom to explore the game of softball.  This exploration takes the form of programs provided by adult volunteers devoted to excellence in the areas of: Citizenship, Friendship, Leadership, Sportsmanship, and Scholarship. The 2010 8U Sizzler Tournament is scheduled to begin July 8th. In 2010 the 8U Division will play 5 innings or by Time Limit Rule , 4 runs per 1/2 inning, 3 outs, and must develop a minimum of 2 pitchers to be ready to pitch 2 innings of the 5 inning game.  (Balls & Strikes will be called.) The remaining innings will utilize Coach Pitching to deliver  up to 5 hittable pitches per batter.  Strikes will be called.  3 Strikes and the batter is out.  If time allows and the game reaches the 5th inning each team can score unlimited runs before reaching 3 outs.
