Concession Stand Pavilion Upgrade

BBYSL Complex -
NO MORE BIRDS FLYING AROUND YOUR FOOD UNDER THE PAVILION!
During the first weekend in October a volunteer crew of 8 men installed plywood and prime coated the "NEW" ceiling in the concession stand pavilion. Under the pavilion has been an eye soar for many years and now, thanks to Mike Mann, Project Designer, and crew members; Bill Dyche, Greg Carrell, Ed Demarch (long time BBYSL supporter), Dennis Peters, Mike Lawrence, Tom Breitenbucher, and Randy King, the pavilion is much more appealing!
BBYSL Parents, Players, and park guests will be able to sit under the pavilion and be able to relax and enjoy their snacks without the fear of bird bombardments :) and the area is now much more inviting as a gathering place.
The project was estimated at over $1,000 but with the help of the Benson family at Security Lumber in Bradley the total cost of the project came in under $800.00! BBYSL is asking all parents to support and thank Security Lumber by shopping at Security Lumber for their next home improvement project or building needs. If nothing else, give them a call and say thanks for supporting BBYSL at 815-933-3307! Without community business partners the cost to play youth softball would be much higher. Local businesses keep registration fees lower.
